The State Government is providing Bangla Crop Insurance for the Kharif season 2024 to protect the crops of jute farmers of West Bengal.

On behalf of the Agriculture Department of the Government of West Bengal, the State Government is providing Bangla Shasya Bima completely free of cost to protect the crops of the jute farmers for the Kharif season 2024 of Bengal. Registration of insurance for jute farmers will start from 01/04/2024. Awareness camps have been arranged at the Gram Panchayat level for the benefit of jute farmers. Last date for insurance for jute is 31/05/2024.
