The land and land reforms setup of the district function under the control and supervision of L&LR and RR&R Department of Govt. of West Bengal. The major functions of this department are – continuous land record updation and its maintenance; distribution of land among the eligible, needy beneficiaries of the society and collection of land revenue from different potential sources.
