Eligible candidates for the post of Community Health Officer (CHO) under NHM for Cooch Behar District under District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Cooch Behar are requested to appear for Written Test at 10.30 am on 22^nd February 2026 at Cooch Behar College, No.-2 Kalighat Road, Near Cooch Behar Railway Station, P.O. & Dist. – Cooch Behar, PIN – 736101. 

The detailed list of eligible candidates for the post of Community Health Officer (CHO) under NHM is attached herewith in ANNEXURE-I.

Eligible candidates for the post of Multi Rehabilitation Worker (NPHCE), Psychiatric Nurse (NMHP) & NRC Attendant, Medical Social Worker (NRC) are requested to appear only for interview. For the post of Nutritionist (NRC) & Counsellor under XV FC-HG only appear for Written Test and for the post of Technical Supervisor (Blood Service) under NHM are requested to appear Written Test & Interview on 19th February 2026.

All eligible candidates should report 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled time of attendance.

In continuation of the recruitment process vide Recruitment Notification No. D&FWICOB/6287 Dated 04/12/2025 of the CMOH & Secretary, District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Cooch Behar for the post of Community Health Officer (Nursing) and Community Health Officer (BAMS) under the National Health Mission (NHM), Written Examination for recruitment to the post of Community Health Officer (CHO) was earlier scheduled to be held on 15/02/2026. Hence, the Written Examination reschedule to 22/02/2026 instead of 15/02/2026.

Memo No: G/250/II-260, Dated: 09/02/2026- A Walk-in-interview will be held at the Conference Room-2 of the Office of the District Magistrate, Cooch Behar on 26.02.2026 at 11:30 am. for selection to the post “Clerk” on contact basis under Cooch Behar collectorate.
