Notice Dated: 10/04/2024 – Postal Voting for Absentee Voters in Essential Service Category shall be functional from 13/04/2024 to 15/04/2024 from 9am to 5pm at the Office Campus of the DM and RO, No.1 Cooch Behar (SC) Parliamentary Constituency.

On behalf of the Agriculture Department of the Government of West Bengal, the State Government is providing Bangla Shasya Bima completely free of cost to protect the crops of the jute farmers for the Kharif season 2024 of Bengal. Registration of insurance for jute farmers will start from 01/04/2024. Awareness camps have been arranged at the Gram Panchayat level for the benefit of jute farmers. Last date for insurance for jute is 31/05/2024.

Krishak Dibas, 2024 is being celebrated on 14/03/2024 under the Krishak Bandhu (New) scheme of the State Government.

All unpaid arrears will be credited to the bank account of the unskilled labourers by 1st March, 2024.

With reference to Memo No.: 1430(23)/WBSCL/SSM/2023-24, Dated 24/11/2023, this year State Sabala Mela 2023-2024 will be held at Newtown Mela Ground (near Biswa Bangla Gate) during the period 19/01/2024 to 29/01/2024 from 1pm to 9pm each day.

The traditional Rasjatra Festival and Rasmela of Shri Shri Madan Mohan Thakur has started from November 26, 2023 onwards.
